It was time to have one more child in the Buffet house. Pepper was fast approaching teenhood, and Olive childhood, so why not! Plus I wanted to try one more time for Trista's skin to show through. So off to the shower to try for a baby.
While we were waiting the results of that, life went on as normal as this household gets.
"Mom, why do we always eat garbage?"
"Pepper, honey, it's only you that eats the garbage."
"Oh, well, I don't like it."
Then stop eating it!
He doesn't though, this seems to be a daily thing for this kid.
In the meantime, Olive is taught her skills, and she learns all three.
Pepper is a little prankster. He is constantly leaving things around the house. I try to get it so Garlic is not the butt of his jokes, but no matter what I do, Garlic seems to always get hit with them.
"It didn't spray him hard enough!"
You kid, need to stop!
He didn't.
He was also still not doing his homework, he finally had made it to school though! So at least we got one thing accomplished. Garlic gave him a lecture, and finally Pepper headed over and did his homework. 100% done!
By that time though, it was too late.
"I did it all for nothing, didn't I?"
Yep, sorry, that homework is trash now.
Oooh don't do it!! This will not become a trend in this house!
Thankfully, he ran to the bathroom and made it.
Pepper turned out to be a pretty good older brother. And his parents actually were able to get a little bit of much need rest.
Some things he didn't grow out of though. Like pranking his parents. Trista seemed to be getting the most of them these days.
"Dammit Pepper! I'm gonna ground you!"
Threaten all you want, he doesn't listen!
We got confirmation that baby number 3 is on its way!
"I'm going to hang myself!"
Why?
"It's already a madhouse in here, why are we adding another one!"
You're exaggerating, it's not that bad!
Garlic didn't seem to be happy about the news either.

"I already have two kids that are not mine, why are we having another?"
Not this again. Garlic, those are both your kids!

Are. ugh! Yes, they are.
It was finally Olive's birthday! But just as we were going to celebrate, Trista goes into labor.
Garlic and Pepper both freak out. Pepper than leaves for school, and Garlic goes about his business. Trista again decides to head to the hospital. This time I followed her, and she actually made it in. I did however, have to keep cancelling Garlic's "meet up" action because someone had to be home with Olive. These guys and just wanting to leave their kids home alone!
Little Mint was born! Oh I like her color! I again got to choose traits, so randomized Easily Impressed and added Insane. Favorite color. drum roll please. seafoam. yep another one!
Back home we had Olive's birthday finally. She got to add Workaholic to her traits.
