The fighting continues after Olive turns into a teenager. Her and Pepper seem to fight over the weirdest things. This fight? Garlic asked them to clean up the house and Pepper decided to take the dishes outside to the corner of the lot. Olive caught him on ended up picking the dishes up. Pepper was not pleased with this at all.
More cuteness from Mint. Garlic with maxing out his cooking skills, didn't have to study so hard for work, so he had time finally with Mint to teach her her last skills. Never did get to talking though, but she did learn to potty on her own.
To break up the monotony of Pepper being a pill, some real excitement happened in the house. We got our first burglar. Now I am not sure of the rules when it comes to burglars, I know you cannot call service sims at all, like the fire department, police, babysitter ect. But the rules say nothing about burglar alarms. I'm guessing since you can have fire alarms, burglar alarms are fair game if you can afford them. We could.
With the burglar alarms installed, it is inevitable that the police will come. This is not me calling them, so I do not know if it marks against me. I also did not cause the fight that happened between the police man and the burglar, so again does that count against me? I'm going to go with no.
The burglar was caught, no help from me, and the family had nothing stolen.
With that, everyone went back to bed. All but Olive, who was a bit late to the party.
"OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD! SHE'S GOING TO GET AWAY!"

Mint's birthday was next, she did not learn all her skills, though we do not get knocked points for that, that I know of.
And her cuteness continues!
Everyone in the house was tired of Pepper's pranks and attitude. Olive did her pranks, but she was nice to everyone and did it as a joke. Pepper seemed to hate everyone but Mint, and did things just to piss off his parents. He got a taste of his own medicine when Mint booby trapped the shower.

As stated, Pepper's birthday was on its way, and it finally arrived. Thank God! I loved him, but he had to go!

I am not that cruel! I did like Pepper, he just wasn't going to be heir. So I did what any nice Goddess would do when their subject is in trouble. I gave him a makeover! Couldn't send him out in the world looking like a creepy man child now could I?
With the makeover done, Pepper rolled the LTW of marrying a gold digger. I decided how I was going to do this was, the first of the LTW's to show up, is what they get. Perfect for him, maybe he could find one that was about to croak and he could just bitch her to death!
At this time I took control. Count it as my one YA control for him if you wish, I count it as getting him the hell out of the house. But I cannot be that mean and send him to his new house with nothing. Being kicked out (seems the only option I ever get) he would have no money. And how is he suppose to land a hot old babe looking like a homeless idiot? He needed to at least be an employed idiot right? So he got a job in the Culinary career (hmm wonder if Garlic will be his boss!) and then I moved him out.

And just so everyone can see, Pepper really is a twit. Before he called to move out, Garlic tried giving Pepper a gift. A little congratulations on becoming a YA, getting a job and moving out kind of gift. What does Pepper do?
"I'm sorry, I don't know you well enough to accept your gift."
What? He's your father! How the hell do you not know him well enough! He taught you everything!
So we say goodbye to Pepper, and hope that he will at least come back to visit. I cannot make any promises on this, as he seems to have lost all memories and doesn't seem remember he and Garlic were actually pretty close at one time.

I have a pretty big update for this family. I vegged out this weekend due to the rain, so was able to play pretty much all day. When last we saw, Pepper had just moved out and Mint had just turned into a child. Mint is ever the cutest little girl. She loves her parents, and her sister, and has so far been pretty good taking care of herself.
"I'm super duper tired, but I want a bedtime story read to me first!"

Winter was again upon us in Aurora Skies, and the snow was coming down quite heavily. The girls got a snow day, which happened to be Garlic's day off, so he and Mint built a snowman together.
Before long, the dreaded day of Garlic's and Trista's birthday arrived. Pepper, on his own doing came over to celebrate his parents entering elderhood. Garlic wasn't too happy to see him, not after what he said to him after trying to give him a gift the last time they saw each other.
"Why is he in my house, if he doesn't know me!"

Pepper waited till his parents aged up before starting in on them. Not sure what crawled up his butt this day, but he seemed to be pissed off at Trista for everything. She just wanted a nice happy birthday, and her son had to ruin it.
All his bitching must of tired him out, so he decided to take over Olive's bed for a nap. Appropriate action for this one.
In the meantime, Olive was scoring up the points on her own.
"Oops!"

Garlic you are too cute! Look at you cook! I've honestly never had a Sim reach the top of the cooking skill, and then really had them cook afterwards. It's boring and grabbing a quick meal is easier. He amuses me though with his cooking.
Prom came and went for Olive. She dressed in her swimsuit, though she did at least smart up before heading to the limo and put her outerwear on. She made Prom Queen, and even got herself a love interest, Steven Somethingrather.
Garlic and Mint did a lot of things together when he was home. He didn't want her forgetting him like his son did, when it was time for her to move out. He read her to sleep, cooking books of coarse. Played with her outside, and even told her scary stories in the living room.
He skilled some more, logic being his favorite. He loved playing chess, and trying to discover a new star.

Garlic, having so many days off now, wanted to go to the Winter Festival. They had snowball fights, ate lots of food, ice skated and snowboarded. It was a pretty good outing for them all.

Mint's birthday was next. It was time to see who would be future torch holder, as Olive only had a few days left before becoming a YA.

At this time I pulled up pictures of both Olive and Mint, as both were pretty to me, and I liked both personalities. I had my son choose for me. He picked Mint. And I was totally okay with that. She is just a beautiful mixture of both parents.
